The ACT Insurance Authority provides risk management training to ACT Government employees on a variety of topics prescheduled. (See Training Schedule)
ACTIA is also in a position to script training packages to address directorate specific requirements.
Introduction to Whole of Government Risk Management
Introduction to Whole of Government Risk Management is an entry level course that covers basic principles of risk management and the Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009.
Participants will be guided through a structured program while systematically constructing a virtual Risk Management Plan.
Managing Project Risks
This risk management program focuses on Project Management and targets the intermediate level participant. The MPR course applies the principles and disciplines of the Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 in the context of project management. This is a more intimate course requires prior knowledge of risk management and recommends the Introduction to Risk Management as a prerequisite

Managing Event Risks
Managing Event Related Risk is an intermediate level workshop that applies the principles of the Australian Standard AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 and tailors this directly to Event Management. Practical examples of developing a risk management plan will be examined. This course requires prior knowledge of risk management and recommends the Introduction to Risk Management as a prerequisite.

ACTIA is pursuing a strategy to work directly with agencies to run dedicated Risk Management training at the directorate level.
There is still a need to provide training across all directorates and a limited number of sessions for the following topics will be available during 2018.
