  • $85 million for school classroom and facilities upgrades including at Lake Ginninderra College,
    Aranda Primary School and Melba-Copland High School
  • Delivering Stage 3 of Belconnen High School’s modernisation including new learning spaces
  • Safer walking and cycling around our schools, with new school crossing supervisors and better
    road signage
  • Devices for students to support technology enabled learning
  • Supporting students with a disability to ensure they can access their local public schools

Building a better city

  • Expanding the Belconnen Arts Centre with $15 million for better workshop, performance
    and exhibition spaces
  • Linking Belconnen landmarks to the town centre with a new Belconnen Bikeway
  • Improving local parks, including a new play space at Giralang
  • Early planning for the expansion of Bindubi Street and planning upgrades to William Hovell Drive

Better services in your community

  • $4.5 million to improve local roads
  • A new Black Rapid bus route between Belconnen and Gungahlin, including free travel
    for the first two months
  • Free off-peak bus travel for seniors and concession card holders
  • Better protecting our biodiversity and beloved green spaces, including Jarramlee Nature Reserve

  • More than $100 million to expand, upgrade and build new local schools
