The Community Energy Efficiency Program (CEEP) is supporting a number of community facilities to improve their energy efficiency with funding provided by the ACT and Commonwealth Governments.
The ACT Government was successful in its submission to the Commonwealth Government for funding to undertake efficiency upgrades at 12 community facilities over a four year period from 2012 to 2016. Upgrades to buildings range from replacing lights, improving insulation, installing high grade window glazing to re-designing the Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) services. The Program also has a strong focus on tenant education and training.

The energy consumption at each site is monitored for the first 12 months after the upgrade completion date. Quarterly energy usage and monitoring reports highlight energy efficiency improvements and identify further opportunities for savings. Tenants are provided feedback on energy usage from these reports and how to make any needed changes to improve energy efficiency. Reports, as they become available are published on this site and can be accessed by selecting each community facility.
